About Us
Established in Coloma, Wisconsin in 2012, High and Dry Dehydrators is owned by eight area farmers who support the high volumes of potatoes needed to maintain our customer’s demand.
Operating systems
The 52,000 square ft. facility houses two main dryer systems capable of running 24/7. The main dryer is comprised of a Beltomatic and Buhler dry which can produce up to 4000lbs per hour of dried potatoes. The second dryer is a rotary drum system designed to produce additional potatoes when demand is high. This system can also adapt easily to other vegetables with great results.
Shipping and Capacities
High and Dry is capable of storing over a million pounds of product on site. With a labyrinth of augers throughout our facility that can load hoppers, custom size totes, and up to 50lb. bags.
Products
Although High and Dry’s main focus is on drying potatoes, we can produce other vegetables such as carrots, sweet potatoes, and cranberries. Following our food safety program (SQF), products are tested on a weekly basis to ensure our customers are receiving a safe and viable ingredient. In addition, all potatoes are washed in our flume system to minimize dirt and surface chemicals.
